Your tasks:

  • Serve as a strategic counterpart to the Head of Private Markets Operations, contributing to the development and execution of the operational roadmap.
  • Ensure smooth cooperation and ongoing communication between Fund Operations (BAU), Fund Implementation, Investment Implementation, and Client Operations.
  • Connect workflows across all operational teams to create seamless, end-to-end processes and scalable operational structures.
  • Detect operational gaps, bottlenecks, or inconsistencies and drive initiatives that enhance coordination across teams.
  • Align priorities, deadlines, and resource needs across functions to support broader business objectives.
  • Promote operational excellence by advancing best practices, driving continuous improvement, and encouraging the use of technology, automation, and modern tooling.
  • Track and evaluate key performance indicators and risk metrics to proactively address issues that could impact multiple operational areas.
  • Support transformation efforts, including new product launches, process redesigns, and system enhancements, ensuring smooth transitions across all involved teams.
  • Foster a culture built on collaboration, accountability, and shared ownership throughout the operational organization.
  • Coordinate with senior stakeholders such as Legal, Compliance, and external service providers to ensure aligned and efficient execution.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team leads, encouraging professional growth and strengthening cross-functional understanding.


Your profile:

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience within private markets operations or a closely related field, with strong exposure to multi-team operational environments.
  • Proven ability to connect and oversee several operational functions without direct line management responsibilities.
  • Strong strategic mindset and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on integrated processes and scalable operating models.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing diverse stakeholders and fostering effective collaboration.
  • Fluency in English; German language skills are an advantage.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, MS Office, and operational platforms; familiarity with automation or AI-enabled tools is beneficial.
  • Solid understanding of fund operations, investor reporting, regulatory requirements (including AIFMD), and fee structures.
  • High level of ownership, precision, and dependability in producing high-quality work under time constraints.
  • Experience supporting audits or regulatory reviews, particularly in coordinating input from multiple teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities with experience coaching team leads and strengthening collaborative, cross-functional environments.
